When we build an ADU, garage conversion, or home addition in San Diego, we put our name on it, and we stand behind it. Our 365-Day Done Right Promise is simple: if it’s not done right, we make it right. Every project we complete is covered by this promise, in writing. No fine print, no phone tag, no waiting until next quarter. You’ll have the coverage documented before the first crew member arrives, and it stays in force for a full year after the job wraps. What’s Covered
- Workmanship on every ADU, garage conversion, and home addition we build. If something we installed or constructed fails because of our workmanship within 365 days, we repair or replace it at no charge.
- The written price you approved before work started. Our guarantee includes pricing integrity. You’ll never see a surprise line item added after crews arrive, and any change to the scope gets documented and approved by you before we proceed.
- Brand-supported materials and installation. We work with Abodu, Cover, Dvele, Mighty Buildings, Boxabl, Plant Prefab, Tuff Shed, and James Hardie materials. When a manufacturer stands behind a product, we coordinate with them on your behalf so you’re not stuck navigating warranties alone.
- Interior protection during construction. The Cedarwell Care Promise is part of our guarantee. Shoe covers and drop cloths on every visit. Pet-safe products where there’s a choice. A photo of the clean-up before the crew leaves, every single day.
- The people on your property. Every technician is background-checked and uniformed. When we say a crew is coming to your home in Clairemont or Rancho Bernardo, you’ll know exactly who’s walking through your door.
- A live person on the phone. During an active build, you can reach a real human 24/7. No voicemail trees. If you have a question at 8:30 pm about plumbing rough-in, someone answers.
Our Satisfaction Promise
Here’s what actually happens if you’re not satisfied. The 365-Day Done Right Promise kicks in the moment you tell us something’s off. Ben Ortega, the owner, gets directly involved. You don’t get bounced to a call center or handed a warranty booklet and wished luck. We schedule a walkthrough, we look at the issue together, and we agree on a fix. Then we send our own crew back to make it right, on our dime.
This isn’t a hypothetical. On a garage conversion in La Mesa, a finished wall showed hairline cracking three months after completion. We came back, diagnosed a framing issue, corrected it, re-drywalled, re-textured, and repainted. The homeowner paid nothing. That’s the promise, and it’s why we put it in writing instead of just saying it.
